BlazingGale's Non HF Related Creations
#1
This is where I'll post my non HF related creations. I do warn you though, due to most of these things being recent, most of them are very big in size so loading these pictures will probably take a long amount of time.
Btw the reason I am posting these is because this place is bloody dead, and that because I recently got the Artist award so I figured why not.

I like the rain-guard of the first sword. The second sword's grip reminds me of a kitchen's knife...

Yes that is the thing about Messers. Messers and Falchions are both very similair, the difference between them is in the handle. Flachions have more arming sword like handles, with a symmetric grip and a round pommel. Messers have kitchen knife like handles. It was a way for the Germans (who originally made the Messers) to get away with carrying weapons in public.
Here's a link for a picture that you can look at to see the difference between them (and all the other falchions/messers):

Also, thanks for the kind words ^_^

I did not know about those sword types. Thank you for clarifying!
Do you happen to have a source of information about the Germans carrying messers in public?

This video explains it nicely. If you want to know more there are many more videos about this.

If you look at this in the first part, the second paragraph says it was carried in public by civilians for self defense.

"Loading will take time" hah, loaded as soon as I clicked it.

Those are some nice swords though.
Life can be very harsh
Everyone faces difficulties, you will never be an exception
But, you mustn't simply give up on life
Nor should you hand your identity and everything to someone else
Be your own person, make your own identity, and control your own life
Fight till the end, and live for the ones that truly care about you
Only then will you find true happiness
