Hero Fighter v0.3 has just been released. This update includes story mode, in which there are 3 Boss characters - Giggs, Titto, and Iczzy. Giggs uses a staff, Titto's a chubby guy with a club, and Iczzy has ice power. I only did a quick run, got to the end of Episode 2 - Trap, but it's fun. The command system is implemented, and you can order your computer allies to stay on your left/right, follow, or freely move around. There's cutscenes with some dialog, but note that holding down a key scrolls through each person's text really quickly, so just tap a key quickly if you don't want to miss out on what each character says.You can find it here.

News just in everybody, Marti's restarting work on Hero Fighter, and this time updates should keep coming over the next 6 months. Watch this space.
Today Marti released another update of Hero Fighter. Version 0.2.1 has been updated with a number of features. The game now shows a summary after each battle ends, similar to Little Fighter 2, and it now includes the army system with a soldier character. Some tuning (all of them weakening) have been done to the hero characters:
Future updates to Hero Fighter will include more army units such as archers and cavalry. Army formations and larger maps are also in the making.
Marti released a few infantry snapshots these days. I also chatted with him about the progress and he told me that he had to fix alot of stuff about the network game, but hope to release a soldier-character soon.
