You open the 7z archive using an archive manager such as 7-Zip. Inside it you'll have an EXE file that you can extract and install CW with.

You can unlock all non-premium characters by clearing the story in hard mode. You can unlock premium characters through payment. This might be easier in the original HF v0.7+ version.
